Katherine Heigl Reveals She’s Open to a ’27 Dresses’ Sequel

Katherine Heigl, known for her role as the ever-loyal bridesmaid Jane in the 2008 romantic comedy 27 Dresses, recently revealed that a sequel may be in the works. In a conversation with E! News, Heigl shared her excitement about possibly returning to the role that made her a rom-com favorite.

“I think that we’re in talks about a 27 Dresses sequel,” she said. “If done right and with that cast I love so much, it would definitely be something I’d be willing to sort of compromise the mom time to do.”

The actress stressed the importance of honoring the original film, saying, “You don’t want to diminish the first one at all. You want to add to it. So, if we can do that and pull it off, I think that would be really fun.”
